It seems hard to believe, but in order to give a special note to the event, they decided at the wedding to keep the top of the cake in the freezer and to consume it after ayear of marriage.
Said and done; when the big day came, they took it out of the fridge, prepared the drinks, the plates, and the goodwill. But when they put the knife in it, they were stuck!
The so-called “cake” was covered only on the surface with marzipan; the interior was completely filled with polystyrene. Angry, the two called the confectionery from which they bought it.
