The weather has finally warmed up and you know what that means: there are stories with girls who have been sent home by schools because of the sexist clothing rules they have. Yeeey!
Sophia Abuabara, a high school student from San Antonio, Texas, USA, was sent home to change her outfit after the high school principal determined that her dress was too short to wear to school…

Sophia called her mother crying and explaining the embarrassing situation she was going through, but Rosey, her mother, was not going to leave things like that.
So she posted this picture of her daughter in that dress on the Internet, then the picture of a male student she saw in the high school parking lot, who was also wearing shorts.

In the description of the photo on Instagram she wrote:
“Wow, my daughter was sanctioned for an outfit like this by the school. They said it was too short. However, are boys allowed to dress like that? She had 3 exams that day, give the length of her dress… ”
According to a local publication, the boy commented on the picture that he had not actually worn that outfit at school that day, those being his sports clothes that he wore after training. But the boy acknowledged that their school’s dress code has expired and is not equal for both sexes: girls and boys, favoring boys.
The mother went to school to defend her daughter but was escorted out by the police because she had dared to “defy” the principal. What upset Rosey the most was that her daughter missed the 3 exams because of something so superficial and exaggerated.
When the woman refused to give it back to the director, he asked her if she needed to call her husband to take care of it.
