Daniela recently made a trip to South Asia taking with her only what could fit in a backpack, but when she got back home she couldn’t even imagine what strange passenger she had brought in her body from Vietnam.
It seems that during the trip, Daniela fell off her motorcycle, and although she was not seriously injured, her nose started to run, and the bleeding became more and more frequent and abundant. what was even worse was the fact that she felt she had something in her nose, but she didn’t worry too much, assuming it was just a blood clot.
The big terrible surprise came when she was taking a shower and at one point she felt something sticky on her lips. The girl came out in a whirlwind to look in the mirror, but she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw something big and sticky coming out of her nose!
As soon as she realized that there were several such cracks in her body, she ran to the Emergency Hospital. The creature’s extraction took a long time and was painful because that creature resisted and the girl was more and more scared.
In the end, it turned out that the creature, which had reached 8 centimeters in length, a sign that it had been well fed, was in fact a leech. Leeches are dangerous parasites that feed on the host’s blood. Doctors assume that it reached the girl’s body after Daniela drank something in Asia.
Daniela was curious and asked the doctors what would happen if the leech could not be extracted. Their response was a terrible one: “He probably found a way to get to your brain and get to feed on it.”
