The Thomas family knew that something was wrong with the little girl they had just adopted, when she, who looked very sweet and innocent, killed a bird and also attacked her younger brother while he was sleeping.

When they talked to her, however, the 6-year-old smiled, apologized, and said that she understood that what she had done was not good and that she would stop. But things got worse.
Soon, little Beth attacked her younger brother so badly that he had to be taken to the hospital. The little girl slammed his face against the floor repeatedly.
The adoptive parents immediately contacted the adoptive agent to find out about her past, but due to confidentiality policies, she could not give them any information, only telling them to take the girl to a psychologist.

Without blinking or showing any sign of emotion, when the psychologist asked her what she would do with the knives she stole, little Beth replied, “I’m killing John and Mommy and Daddy with them.”
It was later discovered that the girl was a victim of extreme violence and sexual abuse, which led to this behavioral disorder.
After much therapy, Beth recovered and completely freed herself from the toxic thoughts she had.
Beth is currently nursing and assisting children with problems similar to the ones she had when she was little. This shows us what the power of love, sustained by hard work, means.
