According to a Georgia police post on April 17, an officer stopped a suspect for no apparent reason and asked him to get out of the vehicle. Once the driver got out of the car, he asked the policeman several times if he could take his cigarettes out of the car to smoke a cigarette while he was talking, but the policeman’s answer was no.

Only then did the policeman think of searching the suspect’s car and found an empty pack of cigarettes. Instead of cigarettes, the package had been modified to emit electrical impulses like an electric shock weapon when a button was pressed on the side of the package.

The police’s social media department said on Facebook: “You would be surprised how many types of weapons modified to look like normal objects exist.” Then the police urged people to be safe.
