In the spring of 2013, a little girl named Taylor Smith wrote a letter to herself. The girl wanted to open it and read it in 10 years, that is, in April 2023. Unfortunately, she didn’t get it. A year later, Taylor died.
The letter would be opened and read by her own parents. Destroyed by the loss of their only child, the parents backed down and decided to share the girl’s belongings.
A few days later, after the funeral, they went up to Taylor’s room. That’s how they found the letter.
They opened it and were speechless when they read it. Visibly affected, the two decided to publish the content of the letter on Facebook. As expected, it went viral in a short time.
In January 2014, Taylor died of complications from pneumonia at the age of 12.
