A woman from India came to the hospital complaining of severe stomach pains, the doctors treated her case very simplistic at first sight, they thought she had only indigestion. After several analyzes, they understood that the woman had a big problem with her stomach and intestines.
That’s why they immediately put her in the operating room and discovered that she had a huge ball in her stomach, 3 kilograms of hair that made her digestive system no longer function properly.
This case had a happy ending, the doctors managed to remove the entire amount of hair without further complications. This woman was diagnosed with a very rare syndrome, called Rapunzel syndrome, which makes patients unable to eat regular food, developing more strange food preferences.
The woman later admitted that she eats the hair that falls from her head very often.
