Bonnie Strachan died at Ipswich Hospital after being born in “very precarious conditions”, had a wrong position, and could not be brought back to life.
The image next to it shows the two parents holding and kissing their child only a few minutes after she died during labor that they claim took place in a continuous panic due to the hospital staff.
The girl had a wrong position: instead of coming out with her head, she had her legs forward. Her parents, Emma and James, say that the midwife was joking that her parents could sell tickets, this happened a few moments before the birth turned into a tragedy.
The investigation showed that the little girl was abandoned for a few good minutes after her birth with complications, the mother confesses that the atmosphere in the delivery room was “too relaxed”: “In many ways, they were too relaxed. Looking back, I understand that I felt alone there, I was tormented, while they were joking and laughing ”.
In addition, it seems that although they were told that the child was a normal size, she was taller, which is always a risk factor. The pathologist found traces of asphyxia in the girl’s body. Parents say another pregnancy would terrify them, at least that’s how they feel now.
