The mother says she became “spiritually attached” to the placenta so much that she felt she “lost a friend” when she fell.

It’s no secret that moms become very attached to their babies even before they are born. After holding a baby in their womb for 9 months, after going through a difficult and painful labor, it is also normal for them to develop an incredible attachment.

Some mothers choose more unconventional types of births precisely because the connection between them and the child is greater. Jasmine Toria opted for what is called “lotus birth”, a technique by which, after birth, the umbilical cord and placenta are attached to the baby until they fall naturally.

The placenta is placed in material and accompanies the baby wherever he goes. The cord will thus fall between 3 and 10 days after birth. Some say that this type of birth makes the baby healthier.

Jasmine says she became “spiritually attached” to the placenta so much that she felt she “lost a friend” when she fell. She expressed her melancholy after the placenta in a post on Facebook that made many eyebrows rise!

Here is what this woman wrote: “After my daughter and placenta were born, we first hugged and formed a bond with the baby while allowing the placenta to complete the pulsations. After I cleaned it with warm water, I dried it and put it in an absorbent towel, I covered it after I gave it with lavender oil, I put on it organic rosemary and organic salt. Then we wrapped it in silk and carried it everywhere with us. My fiancé repeats this procedure twice a day. ”

The placenta fell over 3 days and did not cause any infection, leaving no odor behind. The woman also adds that she believes hospitals use the placenta for the profit they get from stem cells taken from the placenta. I send her, she says, directly to a laboratory where she is frozen and sold again to create medicines and cosmetics. She added that doctors would never reveal the importance of this procedure on the child’s health.

What do you think about this strange procedure?
