Shauna Bauer has been rescuing dogs for over 30 years, she lives in Florida and loves the sun. But one day, in her neighborhood, she began to notice an abandoned dog, although she did not know what breed and gender she had, she found out that his name was Honeybee.
Shauna spent a lot of time trying to gain the dog’s trust, leaving him food and water in front of her house, however, the process was slow. At one point, after a man approached him, the dog jumped into a lake of fear. The woman suspected that there was a very serious reason why the dog had this behavior, but in the end, her kindness bit her.
When the dog allowed him to stroke his fur, the woman noticed something shocking: his skin was covered with huge splinters, he could see dozens of metal objects under the animal’s skin. After taking him to the vet, the results terrified even the doctor! The dog had been shot all over his body dozens of times, his wounds getting infected after his body pushed some bullets in an attempt to heal itself.
The animal underwent multiple operations to remove all the bullets. He now has a new loving home, far from his past in which bad people abused him mercilessly. Here’s what the animal looks like now and what’s its whole story:
