She was enduring the pain of giving birth 75 days in a row! Here’s why she chose to do that.

We all know stories of births that lasted an eternity, but that usually only means a few hours, well, for this woman, Joanna Krzysztonek, an eternity meant enduring the pain of giving birth 75 days in a row! Here’s why she chose to do that.

Joanna knew she was going to have a difficult birth because she had been told she had triplets, but she went into labor extremely early. One of the babies was born prematurely and died, so in order to save the other two, the doctors forced her to do something very unusual: to sit almost upside down to keep the children inside as long as possible.

The woman resisted like a heroin that position for weeks on end, all to save her children. Fortunately, doctors managed to make his contractions less painful. Finally, after 75 days of labor, ie 2 and a half months of torment, on February 15 she gave birth to Iga, a little girl, and Ignacy, a little boy.

The children were born at 32 weeks and stayed in the hospital for a long time, but doctors expect them to leave the hospital healthy and strong. The woman had balance problems after being moved from that awful position and was no longer forced to sit upside down.

Imagine the benefits this mother-heroine would have after all she did to give birth to children, imagine her telling them when they grow up: “I didn’t stay upside down for 75 days so that you can talk to me like that, young man! ”, or:“ I stayed upside down for 75 days so that you could be here. At least do the same for me, bring my breakfast to bed! ”
