Harrison Okene is 29 years old and was trapped for three days in a room with air on the ocean floor. He had no food, just a bottle of juice in the dark. He says he could hear the fish eating his colleagues on their sinking ship. A diver found him 30 meters underwater, in the cabin where he had secluded himself.
The young man says in an interview that he was saved at the last moment and that he still has nightmares about those days. The rescue operation was posted on the internet and has gone viral ever since. He vows never to return to the sea and to find a job as a cook on land.
Harrison was the only survivor of a 12-person crew and believes he was saved by black magic, being of Nigerian nationality. All he swallowed in 3 days was juice. He says that while he was alone in the dark, he had almost given up his life because he knew he needed a miracle. Then he saw some lights and the water moving around, all of a sudden.
When the swimmer saw him, he repeated in the microphone “corpse, corpse, corpse”, reporting to those on the lifeboat. Then, after examining him better, he repeated: “He’s ALIVE, He’s ALIVE!” The man confesses: “Every day I wonder why me, why all my colleagues died, and I didn’t. I have nightmares at night, I wake up and tell my wife that the bed is sinking. When I was in the water I told God that if he saved me I would never return to the sea. ”
