Alex Robinson decided to buy a house in Charlestown, Boston. After a few views, he found the ideal house for him. The house belonged to a war veteran. After buying it, Alex decided to start renovating it, because the house was quite old.
He started to change the interior doors, then the windows to replace some of his furniture, then he thought of changing the floor, because it was very damaged.
He carefully dismantled it, but after lifting a few pieces of the floor, Alex made an incredible discovery.
On the back of a board was written a message: “And America at war to fight Germany. Threshold 5/10/41 by Albert Stella this floor was laid. Go f**k yourself.’’

At first, he did not understand what the man who wrote the message was referring to, but after thinking better he came to the conclusion that the war veteran had thought that the house would reach a German during World War II. and that led him to write that message.
“I really liked the floors Albert Stella put in, but I wasn’t able to keep them,’’ said Robinson. “I realized the floors weren’t level, so the only thing to do was pull them up. Lo and behold, I was told to go f**k myself.’’
“He used square nails. This was all done with manual effort,’’ said Robinson of the floors. “Maybe he thought ‘If someone wants to rip them up, I’m going to give them a piece of my mind.’’

“Obviously, I’m not going to hang this in my newly renovated place, but I’ll definitely save it,’’ he said. “Maybe I’ll hang it up in a man cave if I ever make one.’’
Alex said he was thinking of writing a message on a piece of floor that would stay there for years, just as Albert did, but the message would be different.
“I’ll be kinder with my words,’’ he said.
