A pit bull dog saved his four-legged friend from death

A Swedish pit bull named Tank is considered a hero for his deed of courage.

Tank lives on a farm with his owner, Maurice, and another dog, Bernard, a shepherd mix. The two dogs lead a happy life on the farm, where they take care of the animals on the farm and keep uninvited guests at a distance.

Maurice has a lot of plants and animals to take care of, so he has to work from morning to night. Farm life keeps him busy all the time. One day, while cleaning the cowsheds, Maurice was surprised to see Tank, his pit bull, stirring and barking constantly.

At first, he thought the dog was playing, but Tank was getting more and more agitated. Eventually, seeing that the master did not understand what he wanted to convey, Tank grabbed Maurice by the trouser with his mouth and began to pull him. At that moment, the master realized that something was wrong and followed Tank.

The farm had a 30 ft deep water well that is used to water plant crops. Tank led his master to that well and began to bark louder and louder. When he looked in the well, Maurice saw Bernard, the other dog, who had fallen into the well and was fighting for his life.

The place was crooked, and the dog had his head in the water and could not turn around to catch his breath.
Maurice quickly grabbed a thick rope and after a few tries managed to grab it by a leg. He began to gently pull the dog out of the well, careful because he was afraid the rope would come off.
Eventually, he managed to bring Bernard to the surface. Due to the fall, the dog broke both his front legs and needed emergency medical care.

Thanks to Tank, Bernard’s life was saved, and after he recovered the two dogs remained best friends.

Here is what Maurice, the dog owner, says: “I’m glad to know that I have a dog I can count on, a loyal and smart dog like Tank. Thanks to him, Bernard is alive. I would have been destroyed without him. “

Here is another case in which a pit bull is in the spotlight for good reasons. Tank can be considered a hero for what he did.
You’re the best, Tank!
