This incident demonstrates once again the cruelty of humans against animals. Unfortunately, these cases are becoming more common. Much harsher punishments are needed against people who hit or abuse a defenseless animal in any way. It is proven that people who hear animals have a very high chance of abusing other people. The mental state of such a person can vary: he can be calm at one moment and in the next second, he can have violent outbursts.
On January 3, the surveillance cameras of an animal shelter captured some outrageous images. A man stops the car in front of the shelter, lifts the puppy from the car, and throws it over the 6-ft high fence.
Following the fall, the puppy broke his leg and lay in the grass for hours when an employee of the shelter discovered him in the morning.
“Nala’s New Life Rescue”, a non-profit organization to help animals, offered to help the puppy. she underwent leg surgery and after recovering was named Jenny.
Jenny is a wonderful puppy, always cheerful, playful, and ready to offer love to those around him.
Based on the images from the surveillance cameras of the shelter, the police from Okeechobee Country started the search for the identification of the man who committed the horrible deed.
After 2 days of searching, the police identified George Hernandez, who was arrested immediately. Asked by the police why he committed such a cruel act, Hernandez invented an absolutely pathetic excuse: he was afraid that the puppy would bite his children and decided to abandon him.
Hernandez is to be tried and we hope to receive a severe punishment for his deed.
And Lenny is now looking for a home and a loving family to take care of her and pamper her as she deserves.
