The reason the nurses did not agree with the woman’s pregnancy – they pushed the fetus back inside

The pains of childbirth are simply horrifying, only a woman who has given birth can confirm what she went through. Every doctor has his own procedures to help a patient and when it comes to childbirth, a woman takes several aspects into account when it comes to where to do this. The hospital must of course be properly equipped and the staff must be understanding, supportive and of course, well trained for any situation. The woman in this article had a very uncomfortable situation, she went through terrible moments when she went into labor and can not give positive feedback to the staff where she was hospitalized.

Caroline Malatesta was hospitalized at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, where she was hospitalized shortly before the birth. She sought the advice of those who had previous experience at that hospital and heard good things, so it was decided that the birth should take place there. But when the time came, things were completely different.

The birth started sooner than expected and Caroline’s doctor was not on duty then. When her water broke, she was urged by the nurses not to push and hold the baby inside until the doctor arrived, which made the woman revolt! She had every reason to reach that way as she had chosen that hospital so that everything would be in order and because Caroline knew that the hospital had qualified staff and encouraged natural childbirth.

Seeing what was happening, the woman tried to change her position, wanted to sit on her knees, as she talked to the doctor, but the nurses did the exact opposite and forced her to sit back on her back. Instead of helping with the birth and starting the procedure, one of the nurses started pushing the baby back inside. It’s absolutely outrageous! Fortunately, after almost 10 minutes the doctor entered the room and made sure that the birth was a success.

The baby was born healthy, there were no complications in this regard but the woman was left with problems, a condition in the genital area that causes great pain. Nerves in the area were affected because the child was forced back. The woman made her story public and sued the hospital and the two parents received a sum of 16 million dollars for the actions of the nurses. Both parents encourage other parents to talk if they ger similar treatment because these actions are inadmissible.
