The birth of a child is a real ritual, from the beginning of the pregnancy the mother has to make a lot of changes in her life. Mothers want to have a trusted doctor, someone who understands them, who has the expertise and patience to help her with one of the most important moments of her life; the arrival of the much-desired child. A mother in Scotland had a terrible scare at the birth of her daughter. The doctor was about to kill her daughter due to a moment of inattention.
Karmen Edwards had many problems during her birth. The doctor who operated on Emma claims that he did not know that the woman was in labor and that the fetus had changed its position. Due to this error, he inserted the scalpel more than necessary and cut the little Armenian Edwards on the head, making a small incision. After she was born and they saw that there was a cut on the baby’s head, another complication appeared.
There was no plastic surgeon at Raignore Hospital in Inverness to deal with the girl’s problem, so she had to wait another day for him to arrive. They took the necessary steps to open a case and a year after the baby’s birth, nothing happened.
The two parents are outraged because they found out that the hospital management has made changes in terms of procedures to avoid such situations but at the same time they do not recognize what they did, namely the doctor’s inattention which could have led to the little girl’s death. They are thinking of hiring a lawyer to take over the case and sue the hospital for injuring their little girl. The fact that the case remained unfinished and their daughter could be killed during childbirth raises many questions about the doctor’s ability to take part in such operations.
