This man’s letter to his mother, who lied to him all his life – is truly emotional

Since we were born, mothers have made huge efforts and sacrifices to ensure healthy growth and a better future. Being a parent is a big responsibility, they often give up on themselves to make sure we are well. In this article, we present the letter of an unknown author who shows us what a mother goes through to raise a child in the most harmonious way. The unknown author lists eight lies about his mother throughout his life, but he tells it in such a beautiful way that it is impossible not to shed a tear. The message has a strong emotional impact.

The story began when I was a child; I was born into a very poor family. I didn’t even have much food. Every time it was mealtime, my mother would give me her portion of rice. As she put her portion of rice on my plate, she said, “Eat the rice, son. I’m not hungry.”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S FIRST LIE.

As a child, I remember my mother going to the river to fish; I know that she was doing her best to catch a fish to give me some protein to help me grow. After fishing, she would come home and make a delicious soup, which would whet my appetite. While we ate soup, my mother sat next to me and ate the rest of the fish that was left on the bones of the fish I had eaten. That’s when I realized what sacrifices she was making for me. I used the fork and hit the other one on top of them. She immediately refused me and said, “Eat the fish, my dear. I don’t like it that much. ”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S SECOND LIE.

Then, when I got to high school – to pay for my schooling, my mother worked for a company that worked from morning till night. She was happy to receive money to help me evolve. Because she had no time left, she would wake up at night and prepare food for the next day. I remember one night I woke up and saw her sitting by the fire and mixing in a pot of vegetable soup. I said, “Mom, go to sleep, it’s late”. She smiled at me and said, “Go to sleep, son. I’m not tired.”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S THIRD LIE.

As the graduation ceremony approached, I asked my mother to come with me. She had to leave work to be with me that day. As the sun began to rise in the sky, my mother waited for hours under the bright rays to see me with a diploma in my hand. She applauded me with tears in her eyes and then I realized how much she loves me. When I went to her, she hugged me and gave me a bottle of water that she kept in the net she had come with. She said, “Drink, son. I’m not thirsty. ”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S FOURTH LIE.

After my father’s death, my mother had to play the role of a man in the house. She had to support us all. My family’s life has become much more difficult. There was not a day that I didn’t feel her suffering. The condition of the family members was getting worse; a close uncle, who lived in the neighborhood with us, came from time to time to help us. Our neighbors advised my mother to remarry. But she was stubborn and would not listen to their advice. “I don’t need love”, she used to say.

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S FIFTH LIE.

After graduating from college and finding a job, I said it was time for my elderly mother to retire. But she did not want to; she went to the market every morning to sell some vegetables that she grew in the backyard. She wanted to make money to help us further. I worked in another city and sent her money every week, but she always said she didn’t need money. There were times when I got my money back. She said, “I have enough money, son.”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S SIX LIE.

After a while, I was promoted to the job and I also received a salary increase. I was living very well, so I wanted to buy her a new house in the city where I lived. Then she said to me, “There is no need. I’m not used to city life. ”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S SEVENTH LIE.

One day I received a phone call; there was a doctor who told me that my mother had been rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with stomach cancer. In the meantime, I had moved across the ocean, thousands of miles away, so I took the first plane to get there as soon as possible. When I saw her, they brought tears to my eyes. She was lying on the bed, her eyes closed; then she was out of surgery. She was old and very thin. She opened her eyes and looked at me. She tried to smile at me, but all she could see was pain. I knew she didn’t have much to live for. She looked so fragile and sad. With tears streaming down my cheeks, I approached her. At that moment, she shook my hand and said, “Don’t cry, son. Nothing hurts. ”

THIS WAS MY MOTHER’S EIGHTH LIE.

After she told me that, she closed her eyes forever. I hope she doesn’t feel any pain at least now.”

With this message, we want to thank all the mothers in the world for the care they have taken for us. They are real heroines and their superpowers helped us become the people we are today! Please share this story and thank your parents for everything they do!
