It is a real blessing to grow up in a loving family, full of warmth and harmony. Many children don’t have the same amount of luck, there are so many children out there who are unfortunately abandoned and do not receive too many chances for a beautiful future. Some adults, frightened by the fact that they become parents, simply give in and leave them in God’s care. Others simply do not have a heart or the necessary resources to raise a child. Now, at 35, Janet is still wondering what she did wrong when she was abandoned next to a dumpster when she was just a newborn. She began her life on a dark, cold alley in Lawndale, California where she was fortunately seen by a passerby.
Wrapped in a towel and a plastic bag, she did not know what maternal warmth and the deep love that a newborn feels when hugged by his mother. Joann Hauser, the woman who found her in that situation, immediately alerted the police and made sure that the little girl arrives at a center where she has at least a roof over her head and someone who has her insight. Not long after, Janet received a loving family and felt true love from her adoptive parents. The older she got, the more the questions multiplied and the more she wanted to know the answer to her question: Why was she abandoned in such a cruel way?
Janet was fortunate to find herself in a family that taught her true values, educated her to become a responsible and mentally healthy adult. She got married and gave birth to 5 children, and seeing what it means to be a parent, she never imagined that she could ever do something like that. She decided to look more closely and find out more information about her mother, so she contacted a company that deals with finding biological parents.
After several investigations and connecting puzzle pieces, Janes was so surprised to discover that she had a brother and a sister. Dean and Julie received exactly the same treatment from their mother. The icing on the cake? The mother of the three was the person who alerted the authorities: Joann Hauser. She confessed that she did not have a good financial situation to raise children.
