The father forbade his daughter to epilate from the knees up – the reason is amazing – you don’t expect this at all
Girls’ fathers are very careful when it comes to raising children. They are much more protective and vigilant, probably because they know how boys think, and they don’t want their daughters to be enchanted by the wrong people. A bad influence can radically change a person’s future. The father in this video was a bit drastic when it came to a normal request from his daughter. It was something absolutely natural, something every girl does, but he made a different decision.
Carlinha was preparing for the high school graduation party, she had prepared her dress, make-up and all that remained was to receive her father’s approval. For what? To go to a salon so she can wear her dress with pride. Her father agreed after seeing her dressed, she was too beautiful. But with one condition, to epilate to the knee. Quite a strange request, don’t you think? She kept wondering why. She would find out soon. Carlinha says:
“At first, he told me no. But I was more and more insistent for several days, then he eventually told me that he needed some time to think, to document himself, to see what risks total waxing entails. After a while, he made my appointment at the salon. His only condition was to epilate only on my feet. Up to the knees.”
The girl complied and accepted. Ten years from the ball, she would find out the truth. A decade later, she returned to that beauty salon, and to her surprise, it was the same person who had her hair removed before the ball. The woman finally told Carlinha why her father had behaved strangely:
“She told me that before she epilated me, my father called her and made an appointment. For him. He told her about epilation, about the materials and the technique used. Then my father asked her to wax him. A long epilation. After he finished, my father told the beautician that he did not smile at all at the idea of his 16-year-old daughter going through those torments to get rid of her hair.”
