A man took his father to the asylum – his son’s reaction turned out to be a real lesson
One of the most famous and true phrases about parents was that there is no greater title than the title of parent. From the beginning, parents make great sacrifices for their children. They spend a lot of time making sure everything needed is provided, sleepless and endless nights to soothe the crying baby. Then school, efforts to ensure that the child learns and has all the necessary resources.
During adolescence, a lot changes in a child’s life, which is why they are by their side to teach and educate them about the new changes in life. Over time, we tend to distance ourselves from our parents, perhaps due to the fact that we have more and more responsibilities as we grow up, but a phone call never hurts. This article is about a man who took his father to the asylum because he can no longer stand his presence in the house. The old man had become a weight for him. After he brought him to the asylum, he said goodbyes and everything and returned home.
The kid, who had a very strong connection with the old man asked him “Do you have the address of grandpa’s new home?”. The father was impressed and touched by the question, and replied “Why? You’re thinking to visit him already?”.
But no, the boy had a totally different reason for his question. “No, I need to know where I will take you when you will be in the same situation, old and helpless.” His kid’s response left him dazzled and speechless. He realized the great amount of effort his dad went through during his life and how easy he gave up on him after some difficulties appeared.
