It was a common day in the Fiore family. The warm spring days made the whole family come together and spend some time together. So they decided to heat the grill and make some burgers for dinner.
But no one imagined what was to come soon.
Anthony was just about to take a bite out of his burgger when he suddenly felt a tingling in his throat. A few seconds later, he started screaming in pain. The boy told his parents that he felt like a sharp knife get stuck in his stomach.
His parents rushed him to the hospital. The situation was getting worse.
Immediately, little Anthony underwent surgery, removing the sharp metal wire that reached his stomach. What the boy managed to swallow turned out to be part of the special grill brush.
The operation went well, but Anthony was not fully recovered. The piece of metal that the child managed to swallow had a lot of bacteria, and a few days later, the boy suffered an infection. After undergoing antibiotic treatment, Anthony began to feel better and was able to return home.
The first thing Anthony’s parents did was throw the grill brush straight in the trash.
