A speechless hero named Jessie gave his life to save his master, a 10-year-old boy. The little one was to be attacked by a fierce wolf, when the puppy intervened on the spot, in an attempt to remove any danger.
The boy, named Yemelyan, was playing with his brothers in the northern republic of Komi, Russia. The child hid in a pile of snow, unaware that a wolf had come out of the nearby forest.
The loyal dog saw the danger and immediately fled to provoke the wolf. Surveillance cameras captured the moment when the boy was hiding in a pile of snow, and then the wolf crossed the road. And Jessie was caught in the video as she rushed toward the wolf.
Unfortunately, the fight was not won by the dog who did not have the stature or the power to defeat the wild animal. Jessie’s cry alerted Yemelyan, who managed to escape the danger and tell his parents about the attack.
The little boy’s father, Ruslan, called his friends, including local hunters, and rushed outside, but the wolf still managed to escape into the woods, according to mirror.co.uk.
The puppy was found still alive but was seriously injured. As the wounds were prominent, Jessie died in the arms of Yemelyan’s mother, Marina.
