Who could come in to kidnap their daughter?

Marlene Aisenberg woke up one morning at 6 o’clock, went for coffee, but noticed out of the corner of her eye something awful: the garage door was open. In a minute she was upstairs in her 15-month-old daughter’s room, but it was too late, the baby was gone. Marlene was hysterical, she didn’t know what had happened. Who could come in to kidnap their daughter?

The neighbors were also worried, they were all young parents and they thought that neighborhood was a safe one, but the house of the Aisenberg family was turning into a crime scene, there were police everywhere. They came to the same sad conclusion as their two parents, Marlene and Steve: they had forgotten the garage door open, and the mistake cost their daughter.

While all of Sabrina’s things, as the little girl was called, were carefully analyzed, the parents went on a Tv station and asked the kidnapper not to hurt their daughter, but to return her. But something strange happened the very day Sabrina disappeared: the couple were seen smiling happily as they both left home. People in the community have drawn dramatic conclusions: who can smile at such a tragedy? Did the parents have anything to do with the abduction of the child?

Thus, it came to the fact that the two hired a lawyer, the police, having no other clue, believed that the parents knew where their daughter was and that they also knew who took her. To stop the accusations flowing from all directions, the two parents agreed to be tested with a lie detector. Although the Sheriff refused to disclose whether the two passed the test or not, the idea was circulated that the results were inconclusive and that, due to the circumstances, it was normal for parents to be emotional and stressed when it came to Sabrina…

In the end, they were not prosecuted by prosecutors, and the months passed without any news from Sabrina. But after a while, a criminal who worked with the police, Dennis Byron, had a mission: he was trying to get his cellmate, Scott D. Overbeck, to say everything he knew about Sabrina’s disappearance, he was going to record everything on a walkman.

It seems that Byron knew Overbeck before they both went to prison, and he thought he had something to do with the kidnapping, it seems the two went to several parties where the kidnapper confessed. Here’s what Overbeck confessed: he had been paid to get rid of a little girl’s body, which he said he cut into pieces. He got the body when he took a boat from the Aisenbergs’ vacation home before Sabrina was reported missing. The body was in the boat.

In the light of this new information, the parents were again considered suspects, but in the end, the allegations were again declared unfounded for lack of evidence. At the same time, it was believed that Overbeck had an affair with Sabrina’s mother.

So far no one has found the girl since she disappeared from her home on November 24, 1997. The case is officially closed, and because of the time that has elapsed, no one believes Sabrina will ever be found. . Despite these things, the police officers who worked on this case are sure that the parents were involved in the girl’s disappearance.
