What would the world look like without a bit of color? It is very difficult for most of us to imagine. Each of us associates different colors with things, which makes us feel a certain way. For example, black can be associated with sadness and red with love.
Unfortunately, none of this is known to Xavier McCoury, a 10-year-old boy who was born with a rare condition: he can’t see the colors.
As a result, on the 10th anniversary, the boy’s parents thought of making him a more than special gift, which represents more than anything for their family.
Thanks to the technology that has come so far, his parents decided to buy him a pair of glasses with which Xavier will be able to see the world in color, as we all have the chance to observe every day.
On the big day, the family gave the child the prepared gift, which obviously contained sunglasses specially designed for January.
The moment he opened the package and put them on, it was truly magical!
“It’s impossible to describe how much this moment means to him and to our whole family,” said Melissa, the boy’s mother, excitedly.
