Hanna Barrot of Tennessee was born with a rare condition. Because of this, her skin exfoliates every day, and this is due to something that no one expected: the child’s skin grows faster than usual.

Hanna is six years old now. The girl who was born with a rare condition requires a lot of attention and care. Her parents must apply lotion twice a day on the girl’s dry skin. Everything to prevent it from cracking, bleeding, or, worse, from contracting a fatal infection.

In fact, the girl’s sweat glands are completely blocked. For this reason, it cannot stay in places where the temperature is high. Her body heats up a lot, which is why she risks losing consciousness. So her mother, Megan, who is 26 years old, and the little girl’s father, Tyson, 30, has to keep a close eye on her.
Hanna is one of the 600,000 people who have this rare condition that leads to excessive exfoliation of the skin. The girl was diagnosed shortly after birth. At that time, the little girl had a thin white layer of skin, which is called a “collodion membrane”.

Megan said that in the case of the girl, the skin grows faster than in the case of the other children. If lotion is not applied every day, the child risks aggravating the condition, leading to a severe infection.

As expected, the parents had to take more action. She only needs to wear certain types of clothes so that her skin does not suffer even more. At the same time, the parents have to clean the house every day, because the dry and dead skin always falls off the little girl’s body.
