A 19-year-old woman from Texas, USA, mother of two girls, intentionally left her two girls locked in the car for 15 hours. Unfortunately, the children were found dead.
The two sisters, one-year-old Brynn and 2-year-old Addyson, died after being locked in a car for 15 hours, during which time their mother spent the night with friends at a nearby home.
The girls’ mother, Amanda Hawkins, just 19, was charged with abandonment and endangering the children.
When she found the children unconscious, her mother and boyfriend, a 16-year-old boy, took them to a medical center where they told doctors and police that the girls fainted after smelling flowers by the lake. Their condition was serious and the children died soon after.
In fact, the girls were locked in the car when it was over 32 degrees Celsius outside. Witnesses said they heard the girls screaming but no one went to them to see what was happening.
