One day a boy from a poor family went to school, and during the lunch break, he opened his box where his mother usually put some food for lunch. But it was very sad, the box was empty. Meanwhile, his colleagues were enjoying their food, which their parents had prepared for them from home.
However, the boy could not ask for food from a colleague, he was too proud to do so. That is why he hoped that no one would notice that he had nothing to eat that day. He was determined to keep it a secret.
Eventually, the boy decided to leave the classroom and walk around the school, he was very tired and hungry. To calm his stomach, he decided to drink water, but it didn’t help him much.
Finally, the boy returned to class and took his lunch box from the table to put it back in his backpack. But he was amazed at how heavy the container was!
