Tyson Schreiber turned 16 when he took his driver’s license and signed on to become an organ donor, in the event of a tragic brain death. Three years later, a car accident took his life.
The boy’s healthy organs went to people whose lives depended on a transplant. One of all these people was Laura Ericks: she got Tyson’s kidneys and pancreas.

“The doctors said I wouldn’t be 40,” Ericks said. “I’m turning 45 this year,” she added.
On her one-year wedding anniversary, Laura was on vacation with her husband when she decided to find and visit her savior’s grave. When she finally found him, she met a woman whose life had changed and shaken to its foundations a year ago, just like his own.
Tyson’s mother and sister were visiting him that day. both were extremely excited when they saw Laura. The child’s mother said: “It is unreal to know that she is healthy now and she cared enough to look for him and visit him. She didn’t know where he was. She didn’t have to drive here and look for him, but she wanted to. “
Watch the video below about the meeting between the three, it is clear proof that even from the most terrible tragedies a miracle can be born:
