A woman had a miraculous gesture from her husband who was in a coma. He had sepsis and doctors put him in an induced coma. Roy Norquoy is a 46-year-old man from Scotland. Due to sepsis in 2015, he suffered a toxic shock, and doctors decided as a last resort to put him in an induced coma to make sure that the man would survive. While in a coma at Raigmore Hospital in Scotland, he waved his hands to communicate with his wife. Roy’s condition had worsened and the doctors decided to transfer him to another hospital which was very far from home.
His wife was very scared of his condition and thought about what was worse and what would happen to her husband. The doctors told her that she did not have much chance of survival, and the woman was beginning to prepare for what was to come. She had even announced to the whole family that Roy could live the last moments of his life: “My husband’s condition worsened with each passing moment. I asked all my acquaintances to pray for him. ”
One day, after a visit, the man moved his hand and pointed to his heart. His wife stood still for a few seconds, shocked by what she saw, and then realized that he was trying to tell her that he loved her. Seeing this, the woman began to cry and immediately put her hand on the phone to record the moment. The doctors shouted, and when they arrived, the man was already pointing to his heart. The doctors were speechless and could not explain how it was possible for a patient in a coma to be able to move his hand and become aware of his actions. The woman relates: “Seeing him make this gesture and trying to convey to me that he loves me in the conditions in which I was told he was going to die made that moment remain the most beautiful and important moment of my life.”
For a long time, the wife came to the hospital every day to visit her husband. She spent hours next to her husband’s head, hoping for a miracle: “I just came every day and told her what I had done that day, how I felt, the fact that I wanted so much to recover. I talked like he was fine and he could hear me, just like I did at home when he was healthy. ” The period in which Roy was in a coma was a very difficult period for all those close to him and, at the same time, a very long period.
One day, when his wife was talking to her husband, who was in a coma, as always, she noticed the man’s startled. Then other small movements followed, and finally, he opened his eyes. The woman fell silent and after a few seconds of shock, she immediately called the doctors. Roy had recovered.
After a period of recovery, the man was healthy and completely normal again. His wife showed him the video in which he was in a coma and involuntarily signaled to his heart to his wife that he loved her. Roy says he doesn’t remember anything and that when he looks at the pictures he feels like there’s another man in the pictures and not him. The couple said that this experience brought them even closer and strengthened them.
