The images of a man pulling his daughter’s hair in the supermarket went viral, the reason is really sad!
Erika Burch was shopping at the supermarket in her neighborhood, as usual, when she saw a man pulling his little hair through the shelves. The man was really the girl’s father.
He held the little girl’s hair tightly over the handle of the shopping cart. Burch said she kept hearing the little girl always begging him to stop, she said almost crying, “I promise I won’t!” Please stop!”.
Erika understood that she had to take immediate action, here’s what she did: first she took detailed pictures while the man was doing this brutally to her own daughter, then she told him to let her go, but he replied that he should -and take care of her business. Erika didn’t give up: “No, I want you to let go of her hair right now!”.
Burch then contacted the police, but they told her they knew about the incident. It seems that the police received many calls about this tormented child that evening and assured her that this case is being investigated very carefully. But the sergeant she spoke to told her something else: that the man had every right to discipline his daughter in this way, and that for this incident to be considered an abuse, there should be wounds on the girl’s body.
Here is what the woman confesses, after doing everything she could for this little girl: “People tell me I’m wrong because I get so involved with her, but you can discipline a child without pulling his hair between the supermarket shelves. I wanted to help her so that she would know that no one has the right to treat her like that ”.
