Jason Eaton, 43, and Wendy Sabatini, 44, had a relationship that many considered perfect. The two loved each other very much, shared the same tastes, the same passions, and were inseparable.
However, the situation changed radically the day the man decided to propose to Wendy. He entered the bedroom with the ring in his hand, but the woman did not even let him ask her the big question, immediately telling him that the answer was no.
Apparently, she had reasons why she didn’t want to get married. This was incomprehensible to Jason, who was deeply hurt by what had happened.
The woman’s response disturbed him so much that, immediately after that, he went to an adjoining room, pulled a gun out of a closet, and shot Wendy in the head.
The man’s thoughtless gesture left behind a child without a mother and a grieving family. The man is now on trial for murder and, if found guilty, will spend many years behind bars.
