If you’ve ever lost your wallet or been robbed, you know what it’s like to have that feeling of helplessness and frustration that comes with it.

In 2009, when Connolly saw that she had the car window down and the car turned upside down, she realized that something was wrong. Then her wallet had been stolen with the money she had raised.
“You work so hard for little money that I was extremely angry. That was my money for food and gas for that week, ” says Connolly.
No report had been made by the police or the bank regarding the documents and cards in the wallet.
Until one day when her sister-in-law calls her and tells her that her wallet has been found and handed over to the police. Confused, Connolly asked her what she was talking about, she had her wallet in her hand, until she realized that she was talking about the old wallet, lost 8 years ago.
To her surprise, when she regained possession of her old wallet, it was intact. All her papers, cards, and money were there. Nothing was missing. She had the same amount of money as the day it was stolen from her: $ 141.
Then she thought that she really needed that money at the moment and she was very happy because she was so lucky, even 8 years later.
Connolly wants to send a message to the person who took her wallet to the police: “You did the right thing. It would have been so easy for you to say you found an empty wallet. There are really good people in the world, I can’t believe it. “
