A 4-meter alligator was discovered in the Alabama River in the United States. It weighs 458 kilograms and is the largest of its kind discovered in the state of Alabama. He was caught by Mandy Strokes and her family. Taxidermist Ken Owens, who specializes in stuffing reptiles, was incredibly happy to open it, so he started cutting his stomach, but he noticed something huge inside him…
It was a baby deer, killed, but intact, undigested, unchewed, just swallowed! Ken also found two squirrels in the alligator. It only took the taxidermist two hours to skin the animal. The alligator is believed to have swallowed the three animals about a week before he was caught.
In the animal’s stomach were the bones of birds, the teeth of a cow, stones, and greenery. The hunt to catch him took 10 hours and this reptile could set the record for the largest alligator ever in the world.
The family that caught him will eat his meat, and part of it will go to the people in the shelters.
