It is known that excessive use of mobile phones can cause certain problems for all users: they risk becoming more nervous, may have vision problems, or may suffer from much more serious conditions. In children, the consequences are much more worrying.

If you are a parent, you should know that when your child plays on a smartphone 30 minutes a day, he or she may be delayed in language development. These are the conclusions set by a group of doctors in Canada, presented at an annual congress of the Pediatric Society.

The study involved 900 children, mobile phone users, aged between six months and two years. About half of them had communication disorders.

All you can do to prevent such consequences is to take more time to establish good communication with your child.
