An image posted on Twitter by BBC reporter James Longman, travels around the world for at least a strange reason. So far it has been distributed over 18,000 times and received over 49,000 likes, here’s what lies behind it.
The reporter caught this girl at 8 o’clock in the morning and next to the image he wrote: “Big night (it’s 8 in the morning)”. His assumption was that the girl had spent the whole night and, on returning home, tried to eat something so as not to have a terrible hangover the next day.
However, it is not clear if the woman was simply coming from a night shift and was so exhausted that she fell asleep on the subway. In any case, it seems that this image has ignited all kinds of ideas in people’s imagination.
It seems that most people are worried that a very good pizza is being wasted, while others have replied that the paper under it helps them not to come into direct contact with the dirty subway floor. Other netizens said that the 10-second rule prevented the destruction of a very good pizza.
The BBC reporter also joked on this topic, saying that maybe he will make a Facebook page to raise funds that he will use to buy another pizza for the woman. However, there were also people who were simply worried about the girl’s health. The funniest comment was probably from a girl who said she really wants to know where you can get pizza at 8 in the morning!
