Lisa was only 6 years old when she had to call the police.
She had to help her mother somehow. It all happened on November 21, 1990, Lisa’s father beat her mother, then she moved on to the whole family, she took her siblings in turn, including the baby! Representatives of the Social Services had come to Lisa’s house 23 times before this incident, but the children had not been taken from that place of horror where they were forced to live with a monster. Lisa was growing untrustworthy, and later she would be in an abusive relationship, just like her mother. However, Lisa had the courage to break this vicious circle.
Lisa’s call to the police when she was just 6 years old is currently being used to educate the public about domestic violence. After this episode, everything improved in Lisa’s family, thanks to the intervention of the authorities.
