Amanda Perry lives in a house with her two children, Tony, 5 years old and Miriam, 12 years old. Amanda has 5 dogs, all rescued from the dog shelter in Virginia.
One night Amanda was awakened by the loud barking of Pepper, one of her dogs, a 6-year-old pit bull. The dog barks desperately and runs from room to room. When she woke up, Amanda smelled a strong smell of smoke coming from the kitchen.
Shee went down to the kitchen and noticed that the whole room was on fire. She ran quickly and took her eldest daughter, Miriam, then saw Pepper grabbing her youngest son, Tony, by his pajamas and pulling him out of the house.
Pepper and Amanda and their two children managed to get out of the house, which was completely covered in flames.
After they arrived in the yard, Amanda noticed that her other 3 dogs had not left the house. They were caught in the house in flames.
Pepper ran into the house again and showed the dogs the way out of the house. He even took the youngest of the dogs in his mouth, a 4 months old puppy, who had hidden under the bed in fear.

The house burned down completely, but fortunately no one was injured. Thanks to Pepper, the whole family managed to escape this terrible fire.

“Pepper was our guardian angel, if it weren’t for him, a tragedy could have happened. I never thought Pepper was such a brave and smart dog. ” Amanda told a local news television.
Once again, it turns out that pit bulls are misjudged by people when they categorize them as “aggressive dogs”. They are very good and loving dogs, ready to give their lives for their family.
