There are a lot of horror movies with terrifying stories about souls who have been trapped in this world, sad and misunderstood, trying to send messages to those who still live on earth, demons trying to play with people’s minds or houses where weird things happen and can’t be explained from a scientific point of view. If you are the kind of curious person who is attracted to the paranormal and such mysteries, this horror story that this couple from Great Britain lived will fuel your curiosity and make you feel goosebumps. They bitterly regretted the purchase made at a fair shortly after, when they felt on their skin that something was evil about the doll they purchased.

Debbie and Paul Merrick were walking the streets of London and came across a second-hand shop and there seemed to be a lot of interesting items in the shop window, so they went inside to see if they could find anything to buy. On the store shelves were a variety of products, some newer, others older. They looked through CDs, old tapes, pieces of furniture and finally came to the toy section, where Debbie noticed something.

There were three dolls that seemed to be from the Victorian period and they were in very good condition. Debbie checked the price of the dolls and they were displayed for 5 pounds each. Even though she was not a doll lover, she wanted to buy them because they were in great condition and thought they could be sold on for a higher price. So she stopped thinking and bought them for a total of 15 pounds. After the long walk, the two arrived home and positioned the three dolls on a shelf.

After a while, things started to change in the house. At first, the fire alarms started to start for no reason or the cabinet doors were found open, without anyone doing so. The paranormal events continued and the two spouses realized that it was something evil with one of the dolls when they found her in random places around the house. One morning, Paul woke up with scratches on his left leg in the upper part, small scratches that resemble the evil doll’s hand.

Paul explains how he reacted when he saw that his skin was scratched, and Debbie confirms that it is impossible for him alone to make those marks because his nails are cut almost from the skin. Frightened, the Merricks wrapped the doll’s necklace around their necks four times and closed it in a plastic storage box. They called a friend who is a medium and he confirmed that there is something evil with that doll, he could not stay in the same room with the doll because he felt a very negative, dark energy. After checking the box to see the doll, they realized that it had moved, because the necklace was not wrapped four times, as they initially left it. Scary, isn’t it?

Paul and Debbie Merrick were invited to a live show, “this morning”, where they were called to share what happened.
