Parents want what is best for their children, which is why they intervene when they think that someone is not a beneficial influence. They know what is best for their children, but unfortunately, some parents choose brutal methods to teach lessons and to punish them, as we will see in the following story.
Zhang Qi, a young woman from China, went through an experience she will never forget. Her parents were very drastic after she told them she was dating a boy she liked. They wanted to know more details about her boyfriend and did not agree with the relationship between the two, so they forbade her to talk to him. Zhang Qi felt that feeling for the first time, and she could hardly distance herself from that warm-hearted boy.
But in the end, the two realized that they could not continue. Her parents were skeptical and did not take her word for it when she swore to them that she had ended the relationship with him, so they took precautions. The measures they choose are medieval, you can’t do that to a child you love!
