Such a wonderful feeling when you see people caring for animals that are abandoned on the streets. According to research, there are more than 200 million stray dogs worldwide, but luckily, there are also humans with big hearts thinking about them.
Ken Amante is one of them, a hero with no cape that always cared for the animals he found in his local area, from a very young age. He has a special kind of bond with animals, and you can clearly see that in the following video.
His parents started to be suspicious after seeing him sneaking out of the house, sometimes noticing him taking bags of food with him. He was feeding stray dogs found in his small town, and he was even using all his pocket money to feed his fluffy and voiceless friends in need. As he grew, he became even more implicated in their wellbeing.
Unfortunately, there were some times when some of them couldn’t make it and die due to illness, in most cases mange and sores.
He explains how he built a no-kill shelter named “The Happy Animals Club” using his own money. He also has three fluffy comrades named Whitey, Blackie and Brownie, and they make such a great team! Ken took the initiative and did research in order to learn basic medical aids special for animals.
Ken is the perfect example that when you want to help, there is no excuse. It’s all about the initiative and ambition.
