It’s such a wonderful moment when a shelter dog gets adopted, thinking that the furry one will have a forever home and a caring family to look after him. But in the following situation, you might think twice before celebrating. Usually, shelters put dogs that get along in kennels, and Marshmallow a deaf, lovely Pit Bull, and his roomie Scooby built a strong bond inside Unleashed Pet Rescue shelter located in Kansas.
The circumstances made them unbreakable. Even if there was always a possibility for them to be separated, they cared for each other every day. At some point, Scooby was adopted, fortunately for him, and Marshmallow was left alone, in his kennel.
The shelter personnel noticed the sadness Marshmallow was going through “Marshmallow is crying and has been non-stop since yesterday. Her roommate and best friend Scooby was adopted, she is very confused and sad. What she needs is a forever home to heal her heart.”
When she was brought at the center, she was overweight, namely not in good shape. Later they found out that she is deaf. The personnel took good care of her and managed to turn the pup into a healthy Pitt Bull.
But, she was not alone for a very long time. Someone fell in love with Marshmallow after seeing her story on Facebook, and given her the forever home she deserved and needed. More than that, Scooby’s family and Marshmallow are planning meetings periodically, so their babies can play together. Happy endings make our days! Let’s share this beautiful story!
