Ste Walker lives in Halifax, UK, and has had to vomit 20-30 times a day since June 2012. But when he went to a doctor it became clear to everyone: something terribly dangerous was happening to his body. Then he got hit very hard with a rugby ball, and his story became really dramatic. From then on, everything went downhill…

He spent weeks in the hospital until doctors could diagnose him correctly: he had Crohn’s disease, a chronic intestinal disease that can cause inflammation of the digestive system. This is something Ste has been able to live on his own skin for 2 years, during which time he has been operated on 80 times to have his inflamed bowel removed inch by inch.
A normal person has a small intestine of 4-6 meters and a large intestine of 1.6 meters, while Ste has, after surgery, a large intestine of only 90 centimeters, while the small intestine is only 2.5 cm.
Although his life is extremely hard, Ste does not give up the fight and wants to encourage other people who suffer from this disease.
