An Australian teenager has had the most unpleasant experience of her life. The girl wanted to paint her own eyebrows, but what happened next could ruin her life!
Tylah Durie from Victoria, Australia, was hospitalized in an emergency after having a severe allergic reaction. She decided to apply her own paint on her eyebrows and eyelashes.
The 16-year-old said she had unimaginable pain after her body reacted to the ingredient para-phenylenediamine (PPD) in her hair dye!
The teenager posted a photo on the social network after the allergic reaction, describing the experience as terrifying, especially after the doctors told her that she could go blind.
The doctors warned her that her allergic reaction was not a common one, on the contrary, a very severe one and that the chances of the young woman losing her sight were extremely high.
“There were tears and pus in my eyes, the discomfort was huge and I suffered a lot. I had chemical burns on both eyebrows and my eyes were so swollen that I couldn’t open them, ” said the young woman.
The trauma she went through determined the young woman to advise everyone who wants a paint at home to test the preparation on a small piece of skin, as it says on the box.
“I made a mistake and now I’m trying to protect others,” Tylah added.
