It all happened in Peterborough, UK, here a boy decided to take a short hike, but instead ended up with a shocking discovery.
It seems that just at the moment when he came out of the forest and had a huge plateau in front of his eyes, he noticed at one point an area where you could see a lot of small, round things that seemed to move. They were abnormal and not part of the landscape he knew so well.
Curious, the boy decided to walk and approach them to check what they are. When he got close he had a big shock. What he had taken as tennis balls were actually a bunch of live chickens that, as far as he could tell, were no more than a day old and had just hatched!
Authorities were called to the scene and the investigation is still ongoing, the most likely hypothesis is that the chicks were abandoned in the field by several people and left to die.
The luck of the chicks was this young man who, although he saved them, not all of them survived.
