A mother from New Zealand went shopping leaving her child alone in the car with a small note.

The sleeping child was seen in the parking lot of a New Zealand supermarket on Saturday. A witness told a local newspaper. “It was written from the child’s point of view. She wrote: My mom is shopping, call her if I need anything. And next to it was the woman’s phone number. “
The child’s image was posted on Facebook and quickly went viral. The witness also said: “We waited there for a while longer, wondering if the mother would stay only 2 minutes and return quickly. And my wife said she wouldn’t go into the store unless there was someone next to the child. “
These two people were joined by two others, another couple, and the child’s mother was finally called.
Under New Zealand law, a parent can be fined if he or she leaves his or her child alone at such a young age and without providing the necessary supplies. According to Parenting magazine, about 37 babies die each year because they are left in cars that heat up quickly because of the sun.
