They found on the SIDE OF THE ROAD a DOG COMPLETELY COVERED IN TAR that could not move and was in serious pain. They took him to a dog shelter, but no one gave him ANY CHANCE! Look what happened THERE to the poor puppy:

It all happened in Lanus, Argentina. Two young men were walking, but suddenly something caught their attention. On the side of the road was a dog in critical condition. It was completely covered in tar, could not move, and was in terrible pain.

As soon as they saw him, the two young men knew that they had to do everything in their power to help the poor animal is suffering. They hardly managed to take the dog and take him to the nearest animal shelter.

The volunteers from the shelter were shocked when they saw the poor dog’s condition, but they decided to do everything possible to save him. They tried for 9 hours to clean the fur that was soaked in tar.

“We bought a lot of things, we watched tutorials on the Internet, and we were trying and checking all the products and their results,” explained volunteer Myriam Ortellado. “Firstly, it was impossible to clean it, and then we started using oil, and step by step it worked, but we used five liters of oil.”

They already knew the proper procedure, and it was going to take many hours of restless, exhausting work during that night. They called some volunteers, organized some teams, and bought liters and liters of oil..For 9 hours non-stop they cleaned the tar from his body. Each layer they could clean brought them closer to discovering his real appearance. They were excited!

In the end, they managed to save him and named him Petro, which translates to “oil” in Spanish.

But the work of the veterinarians did not stop here, after they cleaned it completely, they feared that Petro would not suffer any severe intoxication, because they also found tar in the nasal passages, intestines, stomach or ears.

After so many hours of torment, Petro began to regain his strength. He is now 100% healthy and is looking for a family that will love him as he deserves.

Although he has been through a lot, Petro is a wonderful, cheerful, and loving puppy, always eager to play and unpretentious to eat.
