Emma Orbach, chose to find herself in a cottage in the middle of the forest in Wales. People have compared the house he has lived in for almost 20 years to a hobbit house.
The woman built the small shelter for 800 euros in 1999. She made a small yard from which she obtains the food she feeds and raises various animals such as horses for transport, goats, and drinking water from a stream in proximity.
In her house, which she called the “Spirit of the Earth” (Tir Ysbrydol in Welsh) there is no electricity and she leads a life of her own, she only has to pay the town hall 63 euros to live there. From time to time she enjoys going to a store to buy rice and chocolate.
But don’t think Emma is a hermit. No, she decided to run away from the city to find the peace she needed. It receives tourists in its cabin, which is also a center for healing and retreat, the cabin is heated with wood, and the background music comes from its Celtic harp.
