A well-known photography blog, PetaPixel, on which passionate and knowledgeable people share stories and opinions on the subject, offered one of the funniest stories of recent times.
A man accidentally swallowed a 64GB microSD card! The story is written by a blogger who signed himself with the name John Doe (a name given to anonymous people). The biggest problem of the narrator was that on that card were the images filmed with a customer’s drone!
He immediately tried to vomit to recover the card but failed. “Let him pass through you” was advised by a person present at the incident. He had to remove the card in another way and he succeeded. The problems were just beginning.
The card was not recognized by the computer! He tried all known methods until his employer told him to leave the card alone. Fortunately, he was not fired and the client was told that there were technical problems with the images captured with the drone, thus remaining with the photos and footage from the ground.
Eventually, the card fell into the hands of the technicians and they concluded that it was defective. But the images could be recovered and reached the customer. However, the “hero” of the story will always be the victim of jokes involving pampers from now on.
