I am the proud father of two amazing and complicated children. Ash (10) and Aayla (9). A few nights ago, while I was preparing dinner, Aayla asked me, “Daddy, do you want to take Davey with you tomorrow, everywhere?” I answered absently: “Sure, Daddy, that’s what I’m going to do.” Then I hear her say with great happiness: “SERIOUS ???!”. Only at that point did I understand exactly what I had agreed to, and I had no way to give back, otherwise I would have disappointed her, so I said, “Sure, squirrel, my nephew and I will do it tomorrow “. Now she realized that I had no choice, so she raised the stakes: “Daddy, you can buy him some clothes too, he doesn’t have anything that suits him, and please take pictures for me ”.
I was trapped and said yes to everything. You see, Davey is a doll, her favorite doll I took with a dollar from a flea market, he’s from the ’80s, and he looks like a normal baby. It was cute and funny. Her mother and the cashier joked about me and Davey, I took some pictures for my daughter and left.
I’m just a dad who wants his kids to understand that their dad really loves them. I want them to be happy and I would submit to any embarrassing or embarrassing situation to fulfill my promises to them. Father of the Year? I do not think so. A simple father? CLEAR!
